No, you don't need a website. If you're really stressed about the idea of building one, don't worry about it. But it is for your benefit if you do have one. Think about it, whether you meet a person or someone online what's the first thing they're going to do after they meet you? They're gonna go & look you up & make sure that you are a legitimate person and you are the person they want to hire. And if you have a website, it makes it much easier for them to do that research for you to be able to prove yourself what you're talking about and give you an opportunity & build rapport with anybody that might have something in common with something they see on your site.
