10 Reasons Will Make You Love Blogging
10-reasons-will-make-you-lobe-blogging

So what are the benefits of blogging?  What are those reasons that will make you love blogging? and why should you consider starting your very own blog?. These are the questions that come to mind when a novice plans to start blogging in the first place.

It seems like a real escape and daunting for many ( I was one of them). Running a blog these days has become more challenging in technical and competing aspects online. But despite all hurdles & encounters ( which can be coped up with time), I believe that blogging is just more than thriving and glamor, it changes your life in different ways. After reading these 10 benefits of blogging, you’ll like to start your own blog without a second thought.

Blogging serves a different and thoughtful purpose. I’d rather say that it can change the pattern of your thoughts and the way you look at things. Initially, blog writing seems like a real nightmare and a mission impossible stuff to many people. The same situation was in my case. When I started writing, I literally got paralyzed, totally blank-minded, like someone has formatted my mind.

I was thinking of myself as a total ‘failure’ in this. Later on, I realized that the things I was counting as “failure”, those baby steps were actually my learning phases and building blocks of my success. Often when I was about to write on my favorite topic, different ideas began to shuffle around in my mind, but when I tried to bring those ideas on paper, the flock of all those ideas got vanished at once.

I called this state a “writing paralysis”. So when you’re in this situation in beginning, don’t take it seriously, it’s a normal thing, it’s human nature.

I decided to quit many times and condemned the “writing thing”, but a golden quote once my elders exemplified me, has changed the entire paradigm of my thoughts. That phrase was, “if you don’t know how to ride a bike, just buy it”. I was totally unfamiliar with blogs or writing things and applied this example on writing and rephrased the above example, ” If you don’t know how to write, just start writing”. Sounds crazy, but it really worked. I got that how could I give up so early even if I didn’t start yet properly?

Ever since I applied this simple life hack, and consider writing like learning a bike-riding. I’ve made little accidents & got injuries during the learning process, and now writing this piece of article for you, in a cozy mode.

Being self-motivated, I’ve learned to write through hits & trials and made mistakes and lots of imperfections. So my advice is, don’t worry about perfection in beginning, be consistent and keep trying, and keep writing. The consistent small steps always lead to a high altitude.

Regardless of saturation, competition and so many challenges out there for bloggers or writers, I believe that everyone should start a blog these days, why? because you are a unique identity ( your fingerprints are proof of that), you’re the unique voice, your way of writing is exclusive, and you are the whole world on your own. So don’t get worried about the crowd out there. There are billions of stars in the universe, and you are one of them, but unique, that enlightens its own surrounding space out there.

Now I’m gonna endorse my words by giving you these 10 solid reasons that make you love blogging and ignite you to start your blog journey at your earliest.

So here are the key benefits of blogging and you should consider starting your own blog.

Let’s dive into it.

1. You Can Make A Handsome Passive Income

This is the foremost reason people start blogging. I put this point in the first place because millions of people search online for “how to make money blogging online”, “ how can I earn passive income through blogging”, and so on and so forth. Am I right?  and my answer is …. well .… yes, you can make money through blogging, but if you think that blogging is the get-rich-quick scheme, a shortcut to making money online, then my answer is  NAH ! you’re probably misguided about blogging.

Most people come to know that “X Blogger” is making money in 4 or 5 or even 7 digits, and get inspired so quickly, without realizing how many months or even years of effort they did which led them to their success. So bear in mind, inconsiderate to blogging, that “money is the fruit or by-product of your success”.

At the beginning of your blogging or writing career, forget about money, just work smart (and hard as well), be consistent, and just keep going, when you reach success, the money will follow.

2. It Makes Your Online Identity & Authority.

Millions of people & companies googled for multiple data & pieces of information online depending on their preferences. When they found the content online they’re searching for, they get to know about you, your work, and your identity. Gradually, people know about your expertise or the niche you are writing on, which reflects your authority. So blogging is the best medium to build your authority online. Yeah! Blogging is your authority, I mean it.

3. Your Blog Increases Your Knowledge

When you start blogging, you’ll research the topic you’re working on. You’ll need to read books, blogs, and other resources to get versed in your niche. As you acquire knowledge on your topic, you will also learn new things, like, SEO, Digital Marketing, Lead generation, newsletters, WordPress, & the list goes on, and you will continue to grow. Isn’t it worthful to you?

4. Your Writing Skills Will Grow

It is proved that the more you work on something, the better you will on that skill. Blogging has no exception to this. In the beginning, blog writing may be a brain teaser. But continuous practice, even if you are a newbie in writing, will enhance your skills, and the time comes when you’ll be able to write flawlessly on any topic.

5. You’ll Connect With Online Community

This is the most favorite reason I love blogging when different people, from diverse backgrounds all over the world, connect with you online. You will grow your social media followers and email lists but also build solid and genuine relationships. More surprisingly, you will develop your fan base through your blog.

6. You Can Get Online Job Offers

As I mentioned earlier that your blog is your authority. You will get notified through your blog by content writing companies, individuals, or even newspapers. You’ll be offered freelance jobs with handsome payouts, guest posting, ebook writing, ghostwriting, and so on.

If you’re in the online marketplace to get a job, professionalism is the key to that door. The content marketing business always looking for professional writers. You can offer your services to them and get handsome emoluments.

7. You Can Get Into A New Business Venture

You can start blogging as a hobby, which at times, can be your full-time business. I’ve read a story of hundreds of bloggers who started blogging and subsequently convert their small blogs to full-time well established online businesses. Pat Flynn, the owner of Smart Passive Income, is a prominent example. Once dismissed from his job, he started blogging and grow it into a well-established business.

8. You Can Get Freedom Through Blogging

Isn’t it a great deal for you if you’re your own boss, and work from any location? without a time boundness? and get a chance to do things you love most?

Yes, Blogging can give you such a great deal of freedom and allows you to work at your own pace. You can spend more time with your family and friends, go for an outdoor BBQ, fish, hunt, or do whatever you love to do.

9. You’ll Be Invited In Webinars, Speeches, Youtube Channels

When you build your authority online, many companies, bloggers, and YouTubers of your niche will approach you for speeches, seminars/webinars, short training courses, workshops, and interviews. This is the best opportunity to get new social links, share your story with the world, and boost your reputation in your niche. On some occasions, you can also charge them for a speech or training course, that’s another mode of making money online.

10. You Can Sell More

Yeah, If you’re selling your products or services online or planning to do so. Your blog will give you a boost in selling your products. All you have to write content that brings your readers to get interested in your product or service.

Conclusion

Okay now you’re familiar with the benefits of blogging, I recommend you should start your blog as soon as possible without a second thought. Make up your mind, get things ready, swipe up your sleeves, and learn how to start your blog in minutes.
